NEMESIS
Front & Back of Album
Album Insert
The core of the album's visual identity centres around the reinterpretation of Albrecht Dürer's engraving "Nemesis (The Great Fortune)." The original cup symbol is replaced with a bow, referencing the goddess of vengeance, tying into NYRA's girl-crush concept.
During iterations of the custom NEMESIS logo, flipping the final letter "s" revealed a bow-like form, which became the signature symbol/ logo that links the group's identity during this album's era.
The artwork of the poster consists of two illustrated arrows, paired with a chrome manipulated heart, acting as a subtle nod to the album cover with Nemesis holding a bow, and an easter-egg detail for "fans," while also reinforcing themes of vengeance, empowerment, and dramatic storytelling.

Final Logo with Chrome Effect
This project demonstrated how album design can go beyond mere visuals to create an immersive world for fans: a world that is shaped by intention, storytelling, and layered details (Easter eggs) waiting to be discovered. The process emphasized the importance of iterative logo development and crafting thoughtful details that rewards close engagement. Overall, this project strengthened my cross-software workflow, visual narrative skills, and ability to merge classical influences with contemporary styles.
